Frank Biseda, 91, of Monessen, died Thursday March 16, 2017 in Hallsworth House, Monessen.
He was born in Gilberton, PA on August 31, 1925, the son of the late Stephen and Mary (Polanski) Biseda.
Frank moved to Monessen after serving with the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council #954, American Legion Post 28, and Epiphany Bowling League. Frank retired from the Monessen Plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel having worked in the steam plant as watch engineer for 40 years.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Lucille (Lupoly) Biseda, a son Stephen Biseda of Carrollton, GA, a daugther Rita (Rick) Balogh of Rostraver Twp., three grandchildren; Jessica and Christopher Balogh, Aaron (Heather) Biseda, two great grandchildren; Kayley and Keelan Biseda, a sister Mary Biseda of Gilberton, PA and by nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday March 18, 2017 at 12:30 pm in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 618 Knox Ave. Monessen. Entombment will follow in Mon. Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
