Joan F. Wilson, 58, of Monessen, died Monday in U.P.M.C. Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh. She was born on August 23, 1957 in N. Charleroi, the daughter of the late Stephen and Joan (Koster) Yelletz. Joan was a 1975 graduate of Monessen High School and had worked as a cook at the Monessen Elementary Center and the Monessen Middle School/High School. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Alvin J. Wilson, a son, Jason A. Wilson, and a grandson, Aryton Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt who helped to raise her, Betty Artis.
