Rose T. (Bello) Jurcevich

September 29, 1928 — June 11, 2017

Rose T. Jurcevich, 88, formerly of Monessen, died Sunday June 11, 2017 in Mon Valley Care Center. She was born in Monessen, on September 29, 1928, the daughter of the late Frank and Maria (DiSevo) Bello. Mrs. Jurcevich was a lifelong resident of Monessen, a 1947 graduate of Monessen High School, a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church, and a member of the Croatian Home. Years ago, Rose worked as a thread puller at the former Magura's Clothing Company in Monessen. She is survived by her nephews and niece; Anthony "Tony" (Sabina) Sendek and family of Tucson, AZ, Thomas J. (Jennifer) Sendek and family of Monongahela, Kathy M. Sendek DMD, of Reading, MA, Henry (Marge) Glogosh of Scottsdale, AZ, and by numerous other nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Jurcevich, four brothers, Patsy, Donald, Frank, and Raymond Bello, four sisters, Theresa Glogosh, Katie Bello, Lena Turpack, Mary Sendek, a niece Marlene Glogosh, and a nephew Bernie Glogosh. The family would like to thank the staff at Mon Valley Care Center for their kind attention to Rose during her stay there and the OSPTA Hospice staff. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, on Friday from 5 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Saturday June 17, 2017, beginning with a 9:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
