We would like to express our sincere condolences to the family of Sam. A great man with a warm heart. Our memories of Sam Earl are wonderful ones in the basement of the church with a smile and a cigar! Truly a wonderful man! His memories forever shall be eternal as being a giving and caring person that gave so much back to his faith, family and friends.
Bless you all, and may the great memories of Sam live on in all our hearts forever.

My husband and I were so sad to hear of Sammy's passing. I will never forget the card games and the huge lunch my mother would make him when he would drop by to watch our dads play cards. He had the most wonderful smile and a kind word for all in my family. I will cherish his memory. God bless Munda and the whole family. Memory eternal.

Dear Munda and Family:

Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear husband and father, Sam. As a neighbor and childhood playmate of Linda and Ginger, I have many fond memories of the Essey family. Most particularly, I remember how devoted you and Sam were to your children, and how kind and welcoming both of you were to the neighborhood children. Because Pennsylvania Boulevard was a neighborhood filled with caring parents, like you and Sam, childhood memories will always be special for those of us who were fortunate enough to have lived there. May Sam rest in peace...

Most sincerely,
Dr. Mary Ann D'Altorio Dailey
