Dorothy Spadafore, 91, of Mt. Lebanon, formerly of Charleroi, died Friday January 26, 2018 at the home of her son in Mt. Lebanon. She was born on July 13, 1926 in Beallsville, the daughter of the late Ralph and Hilda (Crites) Cole. Dorothy grew up in Charleroi and was a 1944 graduate of Charleroi High School. She resided in Charleroi until moving to Mt. Lebanon in 2006. She married her late husband Hugo and devoted her life to raising their three sons, and half the neighborhood. Dorothy was a lover of music, movies, pop culture, and "Jeopardy". She also was an avid reader and especially enjoyed biographies. Dorothy was a cat lover and a long-time member of the Humane Society. In addition to her parents and her husband Hugo Spadafore, she was preceded in death by two brothers Norman and Stuart Cole, and by a daughter-in-law Myra Bachuchin. She is survived by her three sons, Gregory (Susan) Spadafore of Harrisburg, Scott (Diane) Spadafore of Ross Twp., Jeffrey J. Spadafore, with whom she made her home of Mt. Lebanon; granddaughter, Tanner (Roberto) Rebeil of Hagerstown, MD; three great grandchildren, Elia, Pete, and Rowen Rebeil, and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Monday from 3 pm to 7 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am in the funeral home, with Pastor Lori Walters of the First United Methodist Church officiating.
