James E. Manderino, 57, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday June 19, 2018 in the ER of Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. He was born on December 25, 1960 in North Charleroi, the son of the late James J. Manderino and Constance (Myers) Manderino. Jim was a 1978 graduate of Monessen High School and attended Temple's Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. He worked for the Pennsylvania Auditor General's office and then as a manager for the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, retiring in March with 35 years of service. Jim served two terms as a Monessen City Councilman. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and Monessen Elks Lodge 773. Jim was a devoted family man having enjoyed large family gatherings and especially baby sitting his grandson Jesse. He loved to fish and hunt, ride motorcycles, play his guitar, and was forever building something. Surviving are his wife Tracy (Myers-Joseph) Manderino; three sons, James J. (Hannah) Manderino II, Andrew (Katherine) Manderino, Joseph (Samantha) Manderino; daughter, Heather Joseph, DVM; grandson, Jesse Manderino; two brothers, Thomas D. Manderino and Alan "Jack" Manderino; sister, Kathy Manderino; two mothers-in-law, Mary Sandra Evans and Patricia Myers; two sisters-in-law, Tara Manderino and Barbara Orgovan; two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Maggie) Myers and Joseph (Jennifer) Myers; and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Anthony F. Manderino, his father-in-law Gerald Myers, and his sister-in-law Kathryn Fleming. Friends will be received on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. A Blessing will be held at 11:30 am in the funeral home followed by a 12:00 pm Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen. NOTE: Due to allergies, the family requests no flowers or plants in Jim's memory.
