Angela Sacco, 102, of Monessen, died Thursday, March 12, 2009 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Nocera Terenesa, Italy on August 9, 1906, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna (Peligrini) Maione. Mrs. Sacco has been a resident of Monessen since 1953, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church.She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Clara Sacco of Fontana, CA, three daughters and a son-in-law, Maria Dalessandro, Lena Mascetta and husband Anthony, and Julia Cain, all of Monessen, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Catherine and Pietro Vaccaro of Monessen, Victoria Ganino of Fontana, CA, a daughter-in-law, Maria Sacco of Alto Loma, CA, 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fiore Sacco, a son John Sacco, three brothers, Ortenzio, Joseph, and Chris Maione, five sisters, Lisa Marozzo, Maria Viglotti, Vincenza Barbera, Jennie Coletti, and Julia Sabolchick.Friends will be received on Saturday from 7 to 9 pm, and on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Monday March 16, 2009, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
