Ann V. (Vitkovich) Peckyno

July 10, 1925 — October 8, 2015

Ann (Anna) V. Peckyno, 90, of Monessen, died on Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Meadowcrest Nursing Center.

She was born Friday, July 10, 1925 in Monessen the daughter of the late Charles and the late Mary Besahalich Vitkovich.

Ann worked for Corning Glass prior to becoming a mother and raising her family. She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Monessen where she was active with the St. Mary's Ladies Guild and was a Sunday School Teacher. She had also worked as a clerk at Keystone Bakery in Monessen for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Peter Peckyno; 2 sons, Peter L. (Melinda) Peckyno of Derrick City, PA and Timothy (Michele) Peckyno of Bethel Park; daughter, Patricia (Rick) Consiglio of Gilford, CT; 6 grandchildren, Hannah Consiglio, Alissa Peckyno, Ryan Peckyno, Parker Peckyno, Bradley Peckyno and Krista Peckyno; 6 great grandchildren, Orion Peckyno, Roger Farrell, Aiden Wernicki, Madison Peckyno, Olivia Peckyno and Owen Peckyno as well as nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her sister Mary Troth.

Friends will be received 5 to 8 pm Sunday at the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, (724-684-8750) where a Panachida service will be held 9:30 am Monday followed by Divine Liturgy at 10 am in the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Rostraver Twp.
