Anna M. (Lautsch) Domjancic

Anna M. (Lautsch) Domjancic, 88, of Monessen, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 in Mon Valley Care Center.She was born in North Belle Vernon on July 12, 1924, the daughter of the late John R. Lautsch and Katherine Knutt Lautsch. Mrs. Domjancic grew up in North Belle Vernon, attended Belle Vernon schools and moved to Monessen in 1941. She then graduated from Monessen High School in 1942. Mrs. Domjancic was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church and its Confraternity of Christian Mothers. She was also a member of Polish National Alliance Lodge 1146, the Mon Valley Slovak Cultural Society, and was an active participant at the Monessen Senior Center. Mrs. Domjancic retired from the City of Monessen, having worked as secretary in the City Clerk's Office for 20 years. She later was employed part time for Southwestern Pennsylvania Human Services, as a clerk in their accounting department in the Mon Valley Community Health Center.She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Domjancic, and a son, Joseph M. Domjancic, both of Monessen, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael F. Domjancic in 1967, five brothers, Peter, Simon, Rudolph, Walter, John, and Joseph Lautsch, and by five sisters, Polly, Stella, Louise, Mary, and JoAnn.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen on Thursday May 2, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
