Anthony F. Manderino, 51, of Monessen, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 in the emergency room of Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.He was born in N. Charleroi on September 7, 1957, the son of the late James J. Manderino and Constance Myers Manderino. He was a life long resident of Monessen, a 1975 graduate of Monessen High School and a graduate of Penn State University School of Engineering. Anthony was employed as a project engineer for Curtiss Wright in Cheswick, PA. He was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, Knights of Columbus Council 954, an avid bowler with the Epiphany Men's Bowling League, and a former member of the Elks Lodge 773 and Lions Club, all of Monessen.He is survived by his loving wife, Tara (Forlini) Manderino, two sons, Christopher L. Manderino and Aaron J. Manderino, both at home, a sister, Rep. Kathy M. Manderino of Philadelphia, three brothers and sisters-in-law, James E. and Tracy Manderino of Monessen, Thomas D. and Betsy Manderino of Rostraver Twp., Alan "Jack" and Vera Manderino of Monessen, his mother-in-law, Angeline Forlini of Monessen, a brother-in-law, Louis M. Forlini and wife Diane of Carroll Twp., a sister-in-law, Dhara (Forlini) McCaver of Latrobe, and by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 31, 2008, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 618 Knox Ave. Monessen.The Knights of Columbus Council 954 will conduct a prayer service on Tuesday at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
