Anthony J. Palmieri Jr., 72, of Fountain Valley, CA, died Friday, January 3, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in New Eagle, PA on June 17, 1941, the son of the late Anthony Joseph Palmieri and Agnes Palumbo Palmieri. Mr. Palmieri grew up in Monessen and was a 1959 graduate of Monessen High School. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the U.S. Army's 507th Division as a paratrooper. Mr. Palmieri was a retired aircraft mechanic, having worked 30 years for TWA.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Monica (Push) Palmieri, a sister, Annette (Howard) Silver of California, two nieces, and by his canine companion, Duke.
