Barbara Ann Shosky, 98, of Monessen, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 in Thorpe's Personal Care Home, Charleroi.She was born in Monessen on August 22, 1914, the daughter of the late John and Barbara Kisidaj Terpak. Mrs. Shosky was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. She was a former member of Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church and its Christian Mothers, having held many positions including president. Mrs. Shosky was an avid card player and enjoyed playing cards with her friends at card club. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John B. and Diane Shosky of Pleasant Hills, a daughter Barbara M. Shosky of Monessen, three grandsons, Joshua, Jeremy, and Adam Shosky, a sister, Betty Moravek of Charleroi, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John T. Shosky, three brothers, Andrew, John, and Albert Terpak, and by two sisters, Ann Redlich and Connie Mingrone.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750) on Friday, Jan. 4, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
