Beverly (Schivley) Mascetta, 89, formerly of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Mountain View Memory Care in Greensburg after a long & courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on March 6, 1937, to the late Wendell and Alberta (Wilson) Schivley. Beverly grew up in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh and was a graduate of Schenley High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Catholic Church, Epiphany Ladies, Italian Society of Mutual Aid and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was employed in Administration by the former Mon Valley Hospital for over 35 years.

Beverly and her late husband Robert were world travelers, ballroom dancers and enjoyed visiting wineries & Italian festivals. They were blessed with many special friendships throughout the years and were dearly loved by their daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

On June 4, 1955, Beverly married the love of her life, Robert A. Mascetta, who preceded her in death on Sept. 14, 2023. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie (Steve) Beck and Lynn (George) Josay of Monessen; grandson Billy Christopher Josay; granddaughters, Ashley (Rob) Zullo and Wendy (Brett) May; great grandchildren Anthony Moses, John Rocco, Cameron Robert and Bria Noelle; brother and sister-in-law Bill (Sue) Schivley and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell William Schivley.

Special thanks to Mountain View Memory Care, Redstone Hospice and Medi Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Memorials in Beverly's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. And Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. As per family wishes, all services were private, and burial was in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 9601, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
