Charles Dalfonso, 60, of Monessen, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.
He was born in North Charleroi on January 18, 1955, the son of the late Thomas P. and Elizabeth Roscoe Dalfonso. Chuck was a 1974 graduate of Monessen High School, a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church. and a life member of the Italian Society of Mutual Aid. He had been employed with the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County as a serviceman. Chuck was a loving husband and father that will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Vera (Duralia) Dalfonso, two sons, Charles T. Dalfonso and Ryan T. Dalfonso, three brothers, Thomas (Susan) Dalfonso, Anthony (Vicki) Dalfonso, James (Lori) Dalfonso, three sisters, Camille Dalfonso, Diane Fal , Kathy Dalfonso, two sisters-in-law, Amy (Dana) Dudeck and Barbara Bradley, a brother-in-law, Paul (Marge) Lucas, a good friend, Kelly Hoxie, numerous nieces and nephews, and his loving pets, Guias and Cinny.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Peter and Emily Duralia, two brothers-in-law, Fred Fall and Bill Bradley, and by a nephew Camren Fal.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen.
Services will be held on Monday, Dec. 7, 2015, beginning with a 9:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
