Daniel S. Connair, 93, of Donora, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 in Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh.He was born in Monongahela on August 3, 1914, the son of the late Daniel and Mary Bradley Connair. Mr. Connair grew up in Donora and was a graduate of Donora High School. He received his bachelors degree in Education from California Normal College, and his masters degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. He taught social studies at Donora High School for 41 years, and was the Donora High School Basketball coach for 25 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Valley R. C. Church, and was the last charter member of the Ringgold School Employees Federal Credit Union. He is survived by wife of 66 years, Erma Troilo Connair, a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Jayne Connair of Greenville, OH, a daughter, Judith Beneccio of Monessen, two grandsons, Barry R. Beneccio Jr. and wife Patricia of Jeannette, Evan Connair of Greenville, OH, a great-granddaughter Gina Beneccio, and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Fr. Roger Connair, O.F.M. Cap., Norbert Connair; and two sisters, Phyllis Daughters and Mathilda "Clover" Connair.Family and friends are invited to attend a 10:00 am Funeral Mass, to be celebrated on Saturday Sept. 29, 2007 at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, (St., Philip site, 2nd St. Ext. and Park Manor Rd. Donora). Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
