Dixie Lee Kraynek

Dixie Lee Kraynek, 93, of Charleroi, passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Jefferson Hospital. She was born on August 26, 1931, in Monongahela, the daughter of the late Hearld and Dixie (Hillman) Boord. She taught cosmetology at Pittsburgh Beauty Academy in Charleroi; she and her family were also owners and worked at the Chateau Lounge for years. She is survived by her daughter, Renee (Richard) Minniti of Monessen; four grandsons, JR Minniti, Steve Minniti, RC Minniti, Marc Terensky and niece, Missy Boord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kimberly Rae Breckenridge and brother, Gene Gary Boord. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. At Dixie's request there won't be any services.
