Dorothy V. (Winstone) Johnson, 91, of Monessen, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Hallsworth House III, in Monessen.She was born in N. Charleroi on December 23, 1920, the daughter of the late David and Sadie Gillespie Winstone. Mrs. Johnson was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, a Mid Mon Valley Parish. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a former member of the Magic City Bridge Club in Belle Vernon.She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Harry Niccolai of Monessen, Carol and Rob Street of Rostraver Twp., two sisters, Vivian Ammon of Cary, NC, Lorna Wulf of Toledo, OH, a brother, Donald Winstone of Deerfield Beach, FL, three grandchildren, Brian (Leda) Niccolai of Kennedy Twp., Robbie (Georgiana Olinzock) Street of Belle Vernon, Shari (Jim) Giansante of Jefferson Hills, six great grandchildren, Jimmy and Lauren Giansante, Dominica, Giovanna, and Isabella Niccolai, Jordan Lynn, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herbert O. Johnson, two sisters, Davene McKelvey and Laverne Ferguson, and by a brother, David Winstone.Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, on Thursday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012, at 11:00 am in the funeral home with Rev. Allen R. Riethmiller, officiating.
