Dorothy (Horn) Lender, 94, of Monessen, died Tuesday, December 29, 2015 in Westmoreland Manor, Greensburg. She was born in Monessen on January 28, 1921, the daughter of the late Ernest and Robenia Duncan Horn. Mrs. Lender was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of the former First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Lender, and by two brothers, Eugene and Fred Horn. She is survived by her two sons, Timothy (Myrna) Lender of Lower Burrell, Thomas (Debbie) Lender of Monessen, a sister, Margie Hazlet of Bryan, OH, five grandchildren, Brian Lender, Kelly Beltz, Nicole Davis, Kristie Pampena, and Jamie Lender, eight great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews. Private family visitation and services will be held in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Kenneth Sommerfeldt of the Olive Branch Baptist Church officiating.
