Edward George Donnelly Jr., 69, of Fairfax, VA, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his home.He was born in Baltimore, MD on April 27, 1943, the son of the late Edward George Donnelly Sr. and Elsie Boyko Donnelly. Ed was a professional engineer in the DC Metro area with AECOM's DC office, and formerly with Jacobs Engineering and HSMM. Known for his gentle spirit, he mentored many young men and women in engineering and served as Scout Leader and Eagle Coordinator with Boy Scouts of America for most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Carol Magone Donnelly (daughter of the late George and Silvia Magone), his son, Patrick (Page) Donnelly, twin brother, John Donnelly, two sisters, Rose Donnelly and Mary Donnelly, all of Pasadena, MD.A Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Fairfax, VA, with a committal service held in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.
