Betty E. (Persico) Angeline, 78, of Monessen, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012 in Victoria House II.She was born in Monessen on October 21, 1933, the daughter of the late John B. and Helen Gush Persico. Betty grew up in Monessen and was a 1951 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, its Epiphany Ladies, and Court 776 of the C.D. of A.. She worked at the former Fox Grocery, Wetterau Distributing, and Super Value for 19 years.She is survived by a daughter, Romane Sewell of Monessen, two brothers and a sister-in-law, John E. and Nira Persico of Monessen, Msgr. Lawrence T. Persico of New Alexandria, three grandchildren, Jennifer Sewell, Vincent Angeline Jr. of Monessen, and David Grogan, all of Monessen, a brother-in-law, Julio (Marion) Angeline of Belle Vernon, and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Romeo S. Angeline, a son David L. Angeline, and a niece Denise Persico.Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, beginning with a 11:00 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 11:30 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.The Knights of Columbus Council 954 will conduct a prayer service on Friday at 6:00 pm in the funeral.
