Emma Lou Ferrari

Emma Lou Ferrari, 85, of Monessen, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, in U.P.M.C. Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born on June 24, 1940, in Monessen, the daughter of the late Albert and Emma (Rohar) Kovolick. She was a member of the former St. John's Lutheran Church of Charleroi. She retired from Charleroi Area School District, where she taught science. Emmy had a extreme love for animals, especially her pets Boomer and Onyx and passed pets Sonny and Georgio. She spent countless hours volunteering with various humane organizations, her compassion and endless kindness were immeasurable. She was known for her quiet intelligence and natural elegance, qualities that touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her Brother Albert John (Verna) Kovolick and her sister Carol (Gary) Rader, a niece and two nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, who she missed every day her husband David N. Ferrari. Friends will be received Monday, June 30, 2025, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will follow beginning at 10:30 am, with Pastor Frank Zeman officiating. Entombment will be in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum.
