Gloria E. Belczyk, 92, of Monessen, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the Seneca Place Skilled Nursing facility in Verona PA, with her loving family by her side. She was born on July 23, 1932 in Monessen, the daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Lubecki) Owsiany. She was a very active member of the former St. Hyacinth and later Epiphany of Our Lord Church and the Epiphany Ladies. She often volunteered at fund raisers, parish festivals and Lenten fish fries. She was a member of the Monessen High School Class of 1950, graduating with highest honors. Upon graduation she worked for Pages Woven Steel and Wire in Monessen as an accounting clerk, until she married her husband Raymond and began to raise her family. Gloria enjoyed cooking Polish dishes for her family and spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She loved to attend polka dances with her husband. She had a special group of lady friends and would spend summer days with them at the Monessen Elks pool. She was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. She always put her children first and was most proud of saving and putting all three of her children through college. She is survived by her two sons, Raymond (Diana Burton) Belczyk of Squirrel Hill, Robert (Mary Jo) Belczyk of Huntersville NC; daughter, Janice (Dr. Richard) McCombie of Port Washington, NY; granddaughter, Jacquelyn (Brad) Truxell; three grandsons, Roman Belczyk-Burton, Jacob Belczyk, Matthew Belczyk; great grandchildren, Grace and Jack Truxell, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond J. Belczyk; three brothers, Fred, Dr. Robert, Matthew Owsiany, and two sisters, Bertha Zelinsky, Joan Segedy. Friends will be received Saturday, June 28, 2025 from 9:00 am to 9:30 at the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will follow with a blessing at 9:30 am in the funeral home, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, Interment will follow in the St. Hyacinth's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made to the Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
