Helen (Banas) Senich, 94, of Monessen, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on April 18, 1917, the daughter of the late Steven and Julia Sistak Banas. Mrs. Senich was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Helen enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting.She is survived by her husband of seventy-seven years, John Senich, two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Joseph Righetti of Monessen, Norida and Joseph Rainey of Chesterton, IN, six grandchildren, John (Jackie) Righetti of Sewickley, Robert (Lynn) Righetti of Columbus, OH, Joann (John) Kronz of Clayton, NC, Alan Rainey of Indianapolis, Karen Rainey of Chesterton, IN, Barbara (Scott) Strange of Chesterton, IN, ten great grandchildren and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Steven Banas.Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
