Helen Sally (Altomore) Kundrick, 86, of Monessen, died Monday, February 9, 2009 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on August 6, 1922, the daughter of the late Stephen and Suzanne Trofsa Balant. Mrs. Kundrick was a life long resident of Monessen, and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Fauncy Altomore in 1953, her second husband Alex Kundrick in 1988, two sisters Suzanne Wokaly and Mary Diller, and by three brothers Steve, Mike, and John Balant.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel F. and Debby Altomore of Monessen, two daughters, Barbara Rubino and Judy Kundrick of North Carolina, a brother, William Balant of Virginia, a sister, Anne Warholic of Rostraver Twp., eight grandchildren, Dayna (Jeffrey) Frolo of Rostraver Twp., Daniel (Holly) Altomore, Amanda Altomore, Bethany Altomore, all of Monessen, David (Teri) Rubino, Denise Rubino, Thomas (Amy) Bojarski, Meda (Josh) Newell, all of North Carolina, twelve great grandchildren, a special niece, Vicki Warholic of Rostraver Twp., and by numerous nieces and nephews.Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Thursday Feb. 12, 2009, beginning with a 11:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 12 noon Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
