Howard "Otis" Crosby, 71, of Monessen, died on June 3, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born on January 6, 1955, to the late Mason and Azlie (Thompson) Crosby. Otis was a retired from United States Steel Irvin Works. He was a member of The Christian Center Church and a 1973 graduate of West Newton High School. Otis enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan. He also enjoyed watching scary movies and met other US Steel retirees for breakfast at Grill 51. Otis is survived by his three daughters Yolanda (Alonzo) Madison, Kimberly Crosby, Kelly Crosby; son, Andre Crosby; brother Bobby Crosby; sister, Rosie Crosby; six grandchildren, Stefon, Justice, Monique, Sania, Anastasia, Marcus; two great-grandchildren Zane, Ziya; a special niece Whitney Crosby along with a host of other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Kay (Madison) Crosby, granddaughter, Monet Crosby; two sisters, Janie Johnson, Mary Crosby; six brothers, Ed Youngblood, Leroy Youngblood, Robert Youngblood, Mason Crosby, William Crosby, Albert Crosby. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. And Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. Friends will be received on Saturday, June 06, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at The Christian Center Church 130 Charity Ln. Rostraver Twp. Services will follow, beginning at 4:00 PM, with Pastor Tim Burgan officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
