Joanne G. Lacy, 72, formerly of Monessen and Monroevlle, died Thursday, August 6, 2009 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.She was born in Monessen on August 7, 1936, the daughter of the late Vincent J. and Felicia A. (D'Emilio) Giovagnorio. Joanne was a 1954 graduate of Monessen High School, and was a retired human resources clerk from Childrens Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was a member of St. John Fisher Church, Monroeville.She is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Helen G. and James G. Nahas of Carroll Twp. and Louise G. Williams of Jeannette, and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C. Paul Lacy, and by a sister, Teresa Maiolini.There will be no visitation and private graveside services will be held at Good Shephard Cemetery, Monroeville.Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, Monessen.
