John Perozzi

John Perozzi, 88, of Monessen, died on May 6, 2026, at Allegheny General Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1937, to the late Luigi and Annita (Mignini) Perozzi. John was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and Knights of Columbus 954. He worked in many places throughout his life such as worked at Cherocci Gas Station, Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel in Monessen and a public-school teacher in Pittsburgh City Schools. He enjoyed racing stock cars, was a country dancer. He was a very generous person donating to many humanitarian organizations and charities and being an animal lover many animal rescues and humane societies. John is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his, brother, Delio "Day Day" Perozzi and sister, Lucy Capacasa. Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. And Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. Services will begin on Wednesday with a Blessing Service at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Hyancinth Cemetery. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.dalfonso-billick.com.
