John Senich, 100, of Monessen, died Monday, June 20, 2011 in Select Speciality Hospital, McKeesport.He was born in Monessen on July 27, 1910, the son of Carpatho-Rusyn immigrints, the late Aftanas and Anna (Sekula) Senich. Mr. Senich was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of St. John the Divine Orthodox Church. John was retired from the Page Plant of American Chain and Cable Company.He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Joseph Righetti of Monessen, Norida and Joseph Rainey of Chesterton, IN, a sister, Kathryn Podany of Carroll Twp., six grandchildren, John (Jackie) Righetti of Sewickly, Robert (Lynn) Righetti of Columbus, OH, Joann (John) Kronz of Clayton, NC, Grandson, Alan Rainey of Indianapolis, IN, Granddaughter, Karen Rainey of Chesterton, IN, Granddaughter, Barbara (Scott) Rainey of Chesterton, IN, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of seventyseven years Helen (Banas) Senich on May 11, 2011; four brothers, Nick, Michael, Andrew, and Paul Senich, and by two sisters, Ann Kozma and Mary Dankanich..Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Prayer in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Service in the St. John the Divine Orthodox Church. Entombment will follow in Grandview Cemetery Mausoleum, Monessen.
