Josephine T. Evonko, 93, formerly of Monessen, died Monday, October 1, 2012 in Washington County Health Center.She was born in Monessen on February 16, 1919, the daughter of the late Thomas Barruso and Anna Drago Barruso. Mrs. Evonko resided in Monessen most all her life and was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Evonko, two brothers Samuel and Charles Barruso, and by three sisters Anna Mikula, Virginia "Bubbles" Barruso, and Nancy Barruso.She is survived by her son, Francis Evonko of Belle Vernon, a sister Frances Hrebnar of Monessen, and by nieces and nephews.Thier will be no visitation or service.
