Katherine Margaret Gnip, 91, of Belle Vernon (Rostraver Twp.), died Friday, July 10, 2009 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center.She was born in Monessen on November 24, 1917, the daughter of the late John and Anna Adamchik. She grew up in Monessen and was a graduate of Monessen High School. She was a former member of The Most Holy Name of Jesus R.C. Church and resided in Monessen, Pittsburgh, and Rostraver Twp..She is survived by her two daughters, Nannette and Mary Jane Gnip of Rostraver Twp., and by several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph E. Gnip.There will be no visitation, and funeral services were private.
