Laurel A. "Lolly" Minniti, 77, of Monessen, died Monday, November 16, 2015 in Havencrest Nursing Center.
She was born in West Brownsville on August 1, 1938, the daughter of the late Silvio Gelotti and Janet Robinson Gelotti
Lolly was a resident of Monessen most all her life. She worked for Corning Glass years ago and also owned and operated Lolly's Deli in Monessen.
She is survived by a daughter-in-law, Christine Bednar, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Bob) Desmet and Donald (Kristie) Rutter, a brother, George (Newanna) Gelotti, sister-in-law Teresa Gelotti, four great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, numerous cousins, and by her caretakers, Helen Axton and nephew, Joseph R. Lombardo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Minniti, a son Donald L. Rutter, and by a brother Larry Gelotti.
Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Thursday from 6 pm to 8 pm, time of the service with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating.
