Madeline Alice Garofalo, 93, of Monessen, died Saturday, March 8, 2014 at her daughters home in Belle Vernon.
He was born in Mechanicsburg on September 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Thomas and Marcella Bacius Benedict. She was a lifelong resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by her four children, Patricia Woods of Baldwinsville, NY, Michele (Anthony) Romasco of Annadale, VA, Carol Barrass of Belle Vernon, Michael T. (JoAnn) Garofalo of Fairfax, VA and by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Michael T. Garofalo in 1998.
Private funeral services were held in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment followed in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen
