Mark F. Battista

Mark F. Battista, 62, of Monessen, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Washington Hospital. He was born on February 7, 1961 in North Charleroi, the son of the late Nuncio G. and Rose (Mayernik) Battista. He was Catholic by faith. He loved to fish, ride his bike and watching movies. He also enjoyed listening to music and especially loved listening to Elvis. Surviving are his three sisters, Darlene Thompson of Monessen, Denise Battista of Monessen, Loretta Elsbury of Monessen; girlfriend, Betty Thompson of Monessen; niece, Krystle (Todd) Mickey of Monessen; nephew, James R. (Samantha Lacavics) Lutz; great nieces and nephews, Aaliyah, Kasen & Noel Mickey, Koda & Alex  Lutz. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph Battista. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery Monessen.
