Mary M. Ambrose, 87, of Monessen, died Thursday, February 3, 2011 in Monongahela Valley Hospital.She was born December 19, 1923 in Monessen, the daughter of the late the late Ralph and the late Pauline Chiaravalle Mosco.A homemaker, Mary was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, Monessen.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Edwin Wapiennik of Monessen; son, Fred J. Ambrose, Jr., of CA; and a brother, Anthony R. Mosco of Monessen.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred J. Ambrose; brother, Fred Mosco; and sister, Fannie Ostetrico.There will be no public visitation.FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO MEET on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. for a Funeral Mass at Epiphany of Our Lord Chapel, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd., Monessen with the Rev. David Nazimek as celebrant.
