Mary Ann (Todaro) D'Alonzo, 90, of Monessen, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 in Uniontown Hospital.She was born March 31, 1920 in Monessen, the daughter of the late the late Jack G. and Josephine (Monaco) Todaro.Mary Ann was Salutatorian of the Monessen Class of 1937. She worked as a bookkeeper for Monessen Radio and Television. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, Monessen where she was active in the Epiphany Ladies and the Catholic B.P.W. She was also an active member of the C.D.of A. Court 776 where she was a Past Grand Regent and a member of the Past Grand Regents Organization.She is survived by her husband, Henry V. D'Alonzo; daughter, Mary Ann Daugherty of Monessen; 2 granddaughters, Amy Marie (Keith) Olin of Laurel, MD and Jill Elizabeth (David) Mikula of Fayetteville, NC; 4 great grandchildren, Jacob and Annadea Mikula and Sienna and Cameron Olin; sister-in-law, Mary Todaro of Monessen; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert N. Daugherty, 2 brothers Anthony R. and Anthony J. Todaro; and 2 sisters, Salvatrice "Dora" Ranallo and Jo Marie Stanek.Friends will be received on Monday, August 2nd from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750). Please note: the Reed Ave. viaduct is closed.Services will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. with the Rev. David Nazimek as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Hyacinth's Cemetery, Monessen.The C.D. of A. Court 776, Catholic B.P.W. and the Epiphany Ladies will hold a joint service in the funeral home on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 7:00 pm.The family suggests memorial contributions to Mount Macrina Manor, 520 W.
