Mary Louise Young, 77, of Monessen, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 4, 1937, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Magatz Sobocinski. Mary was a 1955 graduate of Monessen High School and attended Douglas Business School for bookkeeping. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. Mary always looked forward to spending time with her family, especially during the holidays, during their annual trip to Myrtle Beach, and when attending events her grandchildren participated in. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Michael J. Young, two sons, Michael J. (Bobbie) Young Jr. of Bridgeport, WV, Mark (Kimberly) Young of Canonsburg, two daughters, Debra Young of Monessen, Dana (Justin) Keller of Rostraver Twp., six grandchildren, Erica Sitkowski, Cassie Schneider, Sean Young, Raina Young, Logan Young, Aiden Keller, and by nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
