Monica Lynn Gilotty, 55, of Fayette City, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Emergency Room of Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born in N. Charleroi on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 1958, the daughter of Norman L. and Donna (Hamer) Gilotty, who survive and reside in Fayette City (Washington Twp.). Monica was a 1976 graduate of Monessen High School, and a 1977 graduate of Bradford Business School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church in Monessen, and was employed as a front desk clerk at Holiday Inn Express in Rostraver Twp.. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Karen (Bill) Stimmell of Rostraver Twp., Christine Gilotty of Belle Vernon, four brothers, Michael (Lisa) Gilotty of Long Branch, Brian (Kristan) Gilotty of Fairhope, Dean (Kelly) Gilotty of Belle Vernon, and Kenneth (Kelly) Gilotty of Fairhope, three nephews, Brandon and Joshua Gilotty, Anthony Stimmell, five nieces, Kaleigh and Gianna Gilotty, Sarah and Laney Gilotty, Maria Stimmell, five aunts, Wilhemina Mancinelli of Monessen, Jan Gilotty of Hopewell Twp., Darla Belsick and Sharon Hamer, both of Fairhope, Lillian Gilotty of Carroll Twp., two uncles, Robert (Inez) Gilotty of Monessen, Dale (Arden) Hamer of Murrysville, and by numerous cousins. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm, and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014, beginning with 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church.
