Nancy J. (Klawcho) Rocco, 67, of Monessen, died unexpectedly on Thursday, May 22, 2014 in U.P.M.C. Shadyside.
She was born in N. Charleroi on May 8, 1947, the daughter of the late Adam and Ann Kurtak Klawcho. Nancy grew up in Pricedale and was a 1965 graduate of Rostraver High School. She received her Associates Degree in Business from Robert Morris University. Nancy was a secretary, having worked for Herman Bigi, Attorney at Law in Charleroi, the former Bill Brand Real Estate Agency in Belle Vernon, and at Geo Mechanics in Forward Twp. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen, and Russian Club of Pricedale. Nancy enjoyed spending time and swimming with her girlfriends. She and her husband Tom loved to travel, and Nancy was a true lover of all animals.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Thomas P. Rocco, her sister, Patty Testy of Pricedale, two nieces, Lori Testy and Lisa Palmer, both of Belle Vernon, two nephews, Greg Jeffreys and Tracy Jeffreys, both of Belle Vernon, a great nephew, Scott Terry, and by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Norman Jeffreys, and a brother-in-law Daniel Testy.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm, and Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, beginning with
9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
