Patricia A. Pettko

Patricia A. Pettko, 85, of Monessen, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 in Penn Highlands Mon Valley Hospital. She was born on July 19, 1938 in North Charleroi, the daughter of the late Milan and Anna (Kurey) Pettko. She was a member of Epiphany of our Lord Church, Epiphany Ladies, Catholic Business and Professional Women, served on church council and was very active in volunteering in numerous church activities and events. She was also a member of The Red Hat Society, Monessen Friends of the Library, Monessen Chamber of Commerce and was a former board member of The Mon Valley United Way. Patty was an active member of the Monessen High School Class of 1956 and spearheaded the planning and coordinating all of the reunions and gatherings. She began working for Mellon Bank in Monessen in 1956 and became branch manager for both locations until her retirement in 1995. She is survived by her cousins, Marianne and Jim Flickinger, Ted and Judy Pettko, C. Leslie Pettko, Jake Flickinger and Marc Flickinger. Arrangements are entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Friends are asked to meet at The Epiphany of our Lord Church for a funeral mass on Saturday February 10th beginning  at 11:30 am, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating.
