Patsy G. Maione

Patsy G. Maione passed away peacefully on August 20th, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born September 5th 1941, he was the son of the late Ortenzio and Dora Maione. Patsy proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in Germany. He was a skilled carpenter, and a dedicated provider to his family, including as a train conductor for over 36 years, where he retired from Norfolk Southern in 2006. Patsy was married for 49 years to his beloved late wife, Stacy Maione. Patsy's proudest achievement was being a dad and a pap. Patsy always put his family first. We will always remember him for his unwavering love for us all. Surviving are his children, Vincent and his wife Carol Maione, Stacie Abbott and Natalie Shrader, grandchildren, Katelyn (Nick) Faraci, Becca (Anthony) Hogeback, and Gino Maione, Ross (Justina) and Ryan Abbott, and Reid, Mara, and Emma Shrader, great grandchildren Riley and Adelyn Faraci, and Nash Abbott: siblings Mary Nega, Rosie Yemc, Vicky Shuma, Joe (Kristin) Maione, Kathy Maione, Art Maione, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife, Patsy was preceded in death by his brother, Chris Maione; two grandchildren Rachel Abbott and Armand Maione; and a son-in-law Jeffrey Abbott. Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. And Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen, PA 15062. Interment was in West Newton Cemetery.
