Paul J. Lewis, 88, of Fallowfield Twp., died Tuesday, November 4, 2014 in Dunlevy Gardens.

He was born in Everson on October 25, 1926, the son of the late Ted and Edna Clites Lewis. Paul grew up in N. Charleroi and attended Charleroi schools. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Pacific Theater during WW II. Paul worked as a machinist having retired with 43 years of service at Corning Glass in Charleroi. He was a member of the Slavic Club, Belgium Club, and the V.F.W. Post 167 in Charleroi. Paul enjoyed hunting and his many trips to various casinos.

He is survived by two sons, Brian T. (Cheryl A.) Lewis of Lynnwood, Wayne P. (Johanna Fuzi) Lewis of Westover, PA, a daughter, Paula M. (George M.) Peters of Bristol, VA, a brother, Carl (Irene) Lewis of Sun City, AZ, a sister, Sedella Ruth Poroda of Monongahela, eight grandchildren, Jason (Kelly) Peters, Damon Peters, Crystal Lewis, Brian Lewis, Brodie (Sara) Lewis, Rebekka Simmons, Jessica Lewis, Terry (Jay) Gavin, two great grandchildren, Christopher and Sofia Peters,and by numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Angeline Panepinto Lewis.

Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park Mausoleum, Donora.
