Ralph Pascaralla, 91, of Monessen, died Friday November 4, 2011 at his home with his family at his side. He was born in Monessen on October 15, 1920, the son of the late Vincent and Antoinette (Suppa) Pascaralla. Ralph was a life long resident of Monessen and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church, the Knights of Columbus Council 954, and Allison Lescanac Post 1190, V.F.W. He retired with 35 years of service with the City of Monessen, having worked as a truck driver and later Street Commissioner. After he retired, he worked part time at The Valley Independent as a inserter. Mr. Pascaralla served his country during WWII with the U.S. Army in the South Pacific.He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Minnie (DeCurtis) Pascaralla, a son Vincent Pascaralla of Ft. Myers, FL, a daughter and son-in-law, Tena and Robert Brovey of Monessen, two sisters, Minnie Pandrock of New Eagle and Susan Zazac of Indiana, a sister-in-law, Julia DeCurtis of Monessen, six grandchildren, Lisa (Joseph) Kovach of Coal Center, Tracy (Mark) Toth of Webster, Dana Lyne (Paul) Young of Lancanster, Robbi Lynn (David) Wright of Mt. Morris, PA, David (Allisyn) Pascaralla of Cranberry Twp., Justin (Noelle) Brovey of Monessen, eight great grandchildren, Jessica and Cammi Kovach, Myrrhella, Avenna, and Daylore Wright, Mark Andrew Toth, Jack David and Nicholas Timothy Pascaralla, former daughter-in-law, Carol Zema of Cranberry Twp., and by numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, James, John, and Michael Pascaralla.Friends will be received on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750). Services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen.The following services will be held Monday evening in the funeral home: Allison Lescanac Post 1190, V. F.
