Rena E. Guiducci, 87, of Rostraver Twp, formerly of Monessen, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 in U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.She was born in Monessen on March 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Alfredo and Amabile (Barbagli) Sodi. Rena was a 1939 graduate of Monessen High School and a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. She was also a member of Court 776 of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and the Sons of Italy. She had worked as a cook at the former Sons of Italy in Monessen for many years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved to cook and devoted all her time to her family.She is survived by husband, Juliano "Jules" Guiducci, two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Claudio Morini of Robinson Twp., Janice and Tommaso Vairo of Squirrel Hill, six grandchildren, Gianni and Andrea Morini, Giampietro, Simona, Sandra, and Rominna Vairo, a great grandson, Giuliano Vairo, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister.Friends will be received on Wednesday from 6 to 8 pm, and on Thursday from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, (724-684-8750).Services will be held on Friday, March 5, 2010, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord R.
