Toni L. (DeRocco) Holmes, 65, of Monessen, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc.
She was born in North Charleroi on June 5, 1949, the daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa Staffiere DeRocco. Toni was a life long resident of Monessen and had operated a day care in her home. She had also taught Sunday School at the Wayman AME Church and was an avid Notre
Dame fan.
She is survived by two children, David J. (Christine) Yoney and Tia (Brian) Bashur, both of Monessen, a grandson, Brian Bashur Jr., a sister, Donna DeRocco of Monessen, her best friend Angel, and by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph DeRocco.
