Yolanda "Lani" M. Luti, 90, of Monessen, died Monday, September 24, 2012 at her home.She was born in Monessen on November 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Bernard and Rosalie Eusanio Mosco. Mrs. Luti was a life long resident of Monessen and a 1939 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen. She was also a member of the former St. Cajetan Church Rosary Altar Society, Christian Mothers, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Sons of Italy. Mrs. Luti was a wonderful cook who loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed playing Bridge with friends.She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Pierre A. Luti, her son, Damian P. Luti of Monessen, a grandson, Christopher James Luti of Coal Center, four sisters-in-law, Nada (Dr. Guy) Nicoletti of Greensburg, Peggy Mosco of Charleroi, Maria Mosco of San Diego, CA, Joann Mosco of Ironton, OH, her goddaughter, Karen Lewitsky of Monessen, her cousins, Maryann Dusua of Chapel Hill, NC, Marlene Andrus of Frederick, MD, and by nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ben, Tony, and Adolph Mosco, a sister, Mary Mosco, and a dear friend Valia Ray.Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, on Wednesday from 1 to 3 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012, beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, with Fr. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Entombment will follow in the Luti Family Mausoleum, Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.The Knights of Columbus Council 954 will conduct a prayer service on Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
