Angelina (DiEulio) Scirotto-Eppley, 98, formerly of Monessen, died Tuesday April 13, 2021 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. She was born on May 2, 1922 in Naples, Italy, the daughter of the late Pietro and Rosa (Cassetta) DiEulio. Angelina was a resident of Monessen from 1945 until 1988 when she moved to Florida. While living in Monessen, she raised her family and owned and operated Angie's Bakery on Sixth St. She was also a member of the former St. Cajetan R. C. Church and the Sons of Italy Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband James P. Scirotto, her second husband William Eppley, a daughter Geraldine Scirotto, a son Samuel Scirotto, a brother Tony DiEulio, and by a sister Michalina Farbo. Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Barb) Scirotto of California, PA, Vincent Scirotto of Monessen; four daughters, Rosanne Scirotto of Merritt Island, FL, Patty (Kenneth) Arnold of Monessen, Annette Amendola of Coraopolis, Luanne (Dwain) May of Cleveland, OH; seventeen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen. Services will be held on Friday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Monessen. Those attending the viewing and funeral are required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
