Mark Williams, 64, of Monessen, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 8, 2022 at his home. He was born on April 7, 1957 in Monongahela, the son of Marguerite (Spencer) Kerr, who survives of Monongahela. Mark grew up in Monongahela and was a 1975 graduate of Ringgold High School and two years later joined the U.S. Marine Corp, serving his country for over two years. Mark was retired from Monongahela Valley Hospital where he was employed as maintenance supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Mark had a special knack for getting the full use out of everything and was always ready to lend a hand. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife of 41 years, Linda M. (Manges) Williams, two daughters, Marla Williams of Columbia, SC, Brittany (Frank) Irey of Monessen; two brothers, Andrew (Tracy) Kerr and Pete (Jennifer) Kerr; two sisters, Marty Jay (Ken) Kurios and Susan (James) Guglielmi; three grandchildren, Alyssia Williams, Kellan Sickles, and Linda Irey and by several nieces and nephews. Mark was preceded in death by his father Andrew "Stump" Kerr. A private family viewing was held in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Ave. Monessen, followed by a Funeral Service officiated by Fr. Stephen Wahal.
