Sadie R. (Kelton) Altimore

Sadie R. Altimore, 92, of Monessen, died Wednesday September 16, 2020 in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc. She was born in Eagleville, TN on April 2, 1928, the daughter of the late Samuel and Willie Clara (Maupin) Kelton. Sadie moved to Monessen in 1945 after her late husband, Michael E. Altimore, was discharged from the U.S. Army. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord R. C. Church. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Frank Altimore, and by two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her grandson Michael S. (Susan) Altimore of Murrysville, a daughter-in-law Patricia Lynn (Don) Carrozza of Belle Vernon, a brother Mickey Kelton and a sister Ruby Darks, both of Nashville, TN, three great grandchildren Elliana, Frank, and Carlina Altimore, and by a nephew Timothy Altomore of Monessen. Friends will be received in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue Monessen, on Friday, September 18, 2020, from 4 to 7 pm. Services will be held on Saturday September 19, 2020 beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. Everyone attending the viewing and services are asked to wear a mask and social distance, and only 25 people at a time will be permitted in the funeral home.
